The Big Issue Magazine is what we are most well known for. It’s a fortnightly, independent magazine sold on the streets by homeless, marginalised and disadvantaged people. Vendors buy copies of the magazine for $3.50 and sell them for $7, keeping the difference.
More than 11 million magazines have been sold across Australia, putting $27 million into vendors’ pockets.
